Mission Statement
The mission of the Centre is to offer services of the highest standard to children and their families. We aim for excellence in the provision of Family Services as we promote the safeguarding and well-being of children through advice, information and direct work with families.
Our Mission Statement is based on values including:
- Respect: we will always offer our users due dignity and consideration.
- Quality: we will work to the highest possible standard in all our endeavours; evaluating and monitoring our services to ensure outstanding practice.
- Integrity: we will be reliable and honest in the way we carry out our work.
- Cooperation: we will foster collaborative working with other agencies and users.
- Involvement: as an inclusive organisation we will recognise, encourage and value the contribution that diverse users of the Centre and its staff can make.
- Equality: people will be treated equally, irrespective of race, religion, political affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, age or ability.
The core of our work reflects our value system: we aim to increase the value given to families and to decrease the perceived differences between those who have and those who have not – if we achieve this we will have gained everything.
