Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is held in the portacabin on the site of Virgo Fidelis Senior School just inside "The Lodge" pedestrian gate entrance on Central Hill.  Our Breakfast Club has Qualified Child Care Staff and seeks to support children from St. Joseph's Infant & Junior school along with children attending Virgo Fidelis Preparatory school aged four to eleven years before school during term time. 

The club operates from 7.30am to 8.55am when the children are escorted and met by their teachers in the school playground. There are 15 places in the club, which is a self-referral service.  The club aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment with provision of a varied breakfast and drink.

Our Breakfast Club is known to Ofsted and the London Borough of Croydon Education department.  Their requirements are our minimum standards.  In our most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2009 we were awarded a rating of "outstanding".  Click here to see the report.

Criteria for referral

Children in full time education aged 4-11 years

Children attending St Josephs Infant and Junior Schools & Virgo Fidelis Prep School.

Children considered to have Special needs

Siblings already attending the Club

Children already on the waiting list

Children whose parent’s are working or in full time study
